Carol Zartman
I received a BS degree in Elementary Education from Millersville University and have taught children for over 14 years. Helping children grow in the Lord while providing a safe, loving and enriching environment is extremely fulfilling. I am thrilled to be the director of Neffsville Christian Preschool, especially since my own two children had fantastic experiences learning and growing here when they were in preschool. Please give me a call to answer any of your questions and/or schedule a visit.

I received my education degree from Indiana University of PA. I have a dual certification in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. Teaching has always been a passion for me and I love it. I taught K, 1st and Reading Recovery in MD and PA but after the birth of my first daughter I decided to stay home. Both of my daughters graduated from NCP and I was thrilled when the opportunity for me to teach here opened up. I get to have the best of both worlds fulfilling my love of teaching and being home when my children get home from school. I feel blessed.

I earned a B.A. degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Juniata College, and a M.Ed. Degree in Reading and Language Arts and a Reading Specialist certificate from Millersville University. Over the years, I have taught first grade, gym, Sunday School, and Pre-K. I love working with 4 and 5 year olds and helping them to develop a lifelong love of learning, while also preparing them for Kindergarten in an environment that is loving, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate. Being able to teach children about our Almighty Lord and helping them grow their personal relationship with Him is a true blessing.

Neffsville Christian Preschool has given me the opportunity to share my love of teaching children. Before retiring, I taught for thirty seven years in both the private and public sectors in Pennsylvania, Maryland and California. I also earned my Master’s Degree in Education Administration. I was also involved in curriculum design and development and was awarded “Teacher of the Year” in my school district.

Kathy Hurst
I graduated from Eastern Mennonite College with a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education. I spent one year as a preschool teacher in Corning, NY, before moving to Lancaster in 1987. I was a stay-at-home mom for many years with my children who are now in middle school and high school. They attended NCP and had a very good experience. I am excited to be working with children again, and look forward to teaching the three year old class!

Ellen Kohler
I received a BS in Elementary Education and Special Education from Millersville University. After graduation I taught at Neffsville Christian Preschool in the 4 year old class and then moved up to the Pre-K class. I then took some time off to be a full time stay at home mom. I have taught the 2 1/2 year old class and now I am teaching one of the 4/5 Pre-K classes. Growing up at Long Memorial United Methodist Church helped to nurture my love for the Lord. It is a blessing to continue to share the Lord’s love with all of the children at NCP.

Kathy Walter

I graduated from Elizabethtown College with a BS in Math.  I worked in that field before staying at home with our two children, who are now in middle school and high school.  While I was a stay-at-home mom, I taught Sunday school,  I have led a Girl Scout troop for the past 9 years and  I am now back to teaching Pre-K Sunday school at church.  I’m looking forward to sharing my faith with your children and working with them to develop social skills.

This is my 31st year working at NCP. It’s been a wonderful journey working with the special children God has made. I am fortunate to be able to work in a Christian school with a loving Christian staff. Being able to tell children about God’s unchanging love makes my job very rewarding.

The children call me “Miss Tina”. My daughter went through three years of the NCP program, where I started out as a volunteer. I am now in my sixth year and I enjoy working with all ages at the preschool as well as assisting in the kindergarten and first grade classes at Neff Elementary.

Hi! My name is Maggie Cunliffe.  I live in Lititz with my mom, dad, and 2 sisters, Hannah and Sarah.  I attended Warwick High School.  I was on the swim team, lacrosse manager, and involved with drama and chorus.  I was voted to Homecoming twice and Queen of Candles court my senior year.  After graduation I attended East Stroudsburg University for 2 years.  I took classes in finance, health and wellness, and computers.  I enjoy working with children, reading to them, and helping them learn new things.  I am very excited to be helping here at Neffsville Christian Preschool and getting to know everyone.

Holly Fritzinger

I was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia. After I finished my Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management in Bali, I had an opportunity to come and work in the United States and met my husband, Raymond. We just moved to Lancaster from Allentown in the beginning of this year, and I am glad that I found NCP for my 4-year-old daughter, Abigail. The teachers were very welcoming to our daughter, and I can see the love of God through all NCP staff. It is a humble opportunity for me to be part of the NCP family.

Shannon Shaner

I am 25 years old.  I graduated from Hempfield High School in 2009.  I live in East Petersburg with my husband, Sam of six years and my three wonderful children; Emma (7), Brayden (6) and Rhea (2).  We also have a dog named “Diesel” and two guinea pigs named “Dirtbike” and “Cheerleader”.

Jordan Edwards

I received my bachelors degree in communications/journalism from Shippensburg University. After graduation I worked for a local television station in Harrisburg for 10 years. My wife, Erin, and I have been married 10 years.  I’ve been a stay at home parent with our two energetic daughters, Margaret, who just graduated from NCP and Eleanor (3), who will be attending NCP for the first time this year. I look forward to volunteering at such a wonderful school.

Sandra Astheimer

This will be my first year at NCP and I am truly excited to be serving with such wonderful teachers and staff. I share the same excitement as my five year old. Not only will she be learning new skills to grow intellectually, but she will also get the opportunity to “talk about God” freely. I have enjoyed teaching and assisting in Sunday school since before having my own children, and I look forward to using my experience and love for Christ with the children at NCP.

Brittnee Stehman

I am very excited to share that this will be my 1st year as a parent helper and my little girls 1st year of school.  Finding NCP has been a true excitement, allowing us to share this journey together. I always wanted my daughter to attend a place that allowed parent helpers and also gave me a sense of welcome and safety.  NCP made us feel welcomed through the community events they offer and the welcome smiles staff offers to all.  Outside of helping NCP, I am a Registered Nurse, a wife, and a mommy of a precious little girl, and 2 awesome dogs!  I thank NCP for giving me and my daughter this great opportunity to share.

Courtney Lentz

Hello, I live in Lititz with my husband and 3 children: Makenzie (3), Aiden (8), and Taylor (19 – and off in college). I got my bachelor’s in science from Millersville and currently work at Penn State Children’s Hospital as a respiratory therapist. We love taking vacations together, and in my spare time I like to read and be crafty! I love being with children and can’t wait to spend time with your little ones!

Tess Belfino

I am 32 years old and reside in Lititz with my husband Michael of 11 years and our three children, Logan (10), Landon (10), and Harlow (5). I’m on my second year as a licensed cosmetologist but am a stay at home mom for right now. So on my free time I love to read and crochet. I feel truly blessed to be able to be a parent helper this year and be with your little ones.

Dalanna Haldeman

This is my first year serving at NCP and I just felt totally called to the task! I love the outdoors and being active and I love children so it’s only natural that I would get to help out with Gym classes. I am a Lancaster County native living currently in Lititz with two girls, (an NCP grad going to kindergarten this year and a  first year 3 year old preschooler), a sweet husband named Andy, and two cats: Pizza and French Fry. I’m looking forward to teaching gym and getting to know all the families and their children.

Amanda Beaston

I reside in Warwick township with my husband Tom and our 3 beautiful daughters Hailey (8), Kenzie (6), and Natalie (4). My husband, Tom, is a production supervisor for Armstrong Ceilings in Marietta which allows me to be a stay at home mom! I enjoy helping in my daughter’s classrooms and coaching soccer. I look forward to being a parent helper this year and meeting your children in the classroom. 🙂

Denise Rosario
I am extraordinarily blessed to be able to serve on the Board for my fourth year as Parent Representative for our wonderful preschool. My husband, Wayne, and I were transferred to Lancaster from Long Island about six years ago. We have two daughters. The youngest is finishing up at NCP this year! Her big sister was very fortunate to have two years at NCP before starting Kindergarten at Neff Elementary. We truly feel the hand of God in our move here and his guidance to enroll our children at NCP. We are so honored to be a part of this great family.
