Carol Zartman
I received a BS degree in Elementary Education from Millersville University and have taught children for over 14 years. Helping children grow in the Lord while providing a safe, loving, and enriching environment is extremely fulfilling. I am thrilled to be the director of Neffsville Christian Preschool, especially since my own two children had fantastic experiences learning and growing here when they were in preschool. Please give me a call to answer any of your questions and/or schedule a visit.

Jenn Gravely

I graduated from HACC-Lancaster in 2007 with an associates degree in early childhood. I worked for several years at a childrens center and have done different children activities. I’m also involved at my church with nursery, children’s church and youth group. My husband and I have 4 children. After my second child was born we decided for me to be a stay at home mom. Now that my youngest is going to preschool we figured it was time I got back into the working field. I am so excited to be the assistant director at Neffsville Christian Preschool. I am excited to watch your children grow and learn more about God and help them learn academically too. I look forward to meeting you this school year.

Sara Stokes
Neffsville Christian Preschool has given me the opportunity to share my love of teaching children. Before retiring, I taught for thirty seven years in both the private and public sectors in Pennsylvania, Maryland and California. I also earned my Master’s Degree in Education Administration. I was also involved in curriculum design and development and was awarded “Teacher of the Year” in my school district.

Kathy Hurst
I graduated from Eastern Mennonite College with a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education. I spent one year as a preschool teacher in Corning, NY, before moving to Lancaster in 1987. I was a stay-at-home mom for many years with my children who are now in middle school and high school. They attended NCP and had a very good experience. I am excited to be working with children again, and look forward to teaching the three year old class!

Kathy Walter

I graduated from Elizabethtown College with a BS in Math.  I worked in that field before staying at home with our two children, who are now in middle school and high school.  While I was a stay-at-home mom, I taught Sunday school,  I have led a Girl Scout troop for the past 9 years and  I am now back to teaching Pre-K Sunday school at church.  I’m looking forward to sharing my faith with your children and working with them to develop social skills.

Marianne Burkholder

I graduated from Millersville University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary and Special education and earned a Reading Specialist Certification.  I have taught twenty-five years combined at Lancaster Country Day School as a first and second grade teacher and in the School District of Lancaster as a first grade teacher.  As I watched my triplet granddaughters go through Neffsville Christian Preschool, I was impressed by the dedication of the teachers emphasizing developmentally appropriate skills coupled with the emphasis on the teachings of God.  I’m looking forward to being a part of this wonderful preschool.

Mrs. Carolyn Brubaker

After raising four sons and working at SONshine Child Development Center for several years I decided I needed a degree in Early Childhood Education. I graduated from HACC in 2006 and continued working for the daycare until May of 2019.  I am very excited to be teaching four year olds again after many years with infants in daycare.  I love the fact that I can teach Bible stories and God’s rules at Neffsville Christian Preschool.  My husband Leon and I have been married forty six years and continue to serve the Lord through our local church and doing home repairs for those who need assistance after a storm or flood locally or with Mennonite Disaster Service.

Meagan Kober

NCP has always been close to my heart.  I watched my son thrive not only educationally but socially and emotionally as well during his time at NCP.  NCP creates such a strong foundation for the education experience for the children and parents/caretakers.  My daughter is starting her second year at NCP and it was my pleasure to join the NCP team this year!  I have a BS in elementary education from Millersville University.  I taught second grade for two years and before that I was a stay at home mom and substituting in local school districts.  I am very excited to work with this age group and be a part of their love of learning!
