Road Rallies through the years

Every spring, we gather our classes and have road rallies!  Each class gets to bring a riding toy and helmet from home and ride on our “track”.  Our wonderful parents volunteer to man the snack station, “gas” station, and ribbon station.  Each time a student completes a lap, they receive a streamer to put on their bike or scooter.  students love collective the streamers and participating in this fun day!

Music Days

 Music Days

Every year in the spring we invite local musicians into our school to teach our students about various types of instruments and styles of music. Over the years our guests have included middle and high school violinists, a local music composer, an organist, a flautist, guitar players, keyboard players, and an in school visit from Popovsky Performing Arts Center.

Field Trips

We love to give our students a variety of experiences!  One way that we do that is tot ake them on field trips.  Our field trips have included the Manheim Farm Show, Various local pumpkin patches, a bowling alley, Eastland Alpaca Farm, The North Museum of Science, and even an in house field trip to see reptiles up close and personally!

Lunch Bunch

 Lunch Bunch

Lunch bunch is an opportunity for our 4s and 5s to have an extended day at preschool.  It serves to give the students an opportunity to meet new friends who are not necessarily in their class. They can also practice eating lunch in a school setting; we help them to develop skills like asking for help to open things and managing their time to talk with friends while also eating. We have a new theme each month that lunch bunch runs.

Students who attend lunch bunch will get time for free play, listen to a story, eat lunch, and participate in centers that focus on process not product.

Lunch bunch happens on Wednesdays directly after school until 2:00pm.  The cost is $15.00 per session.

Listening to a story that matches the monthly theme.

Our Thanksgiving Celebration

As a whole school, we celebrate Thanksgiving with a feast in the morning, served by our wonderful parents and teachers,  and have an evening program where our families come to see us perform songs, bible verses and finger plays.     DSCN2529DSC00743DSC00749DSC00751DSC00737DSC00741DSC00790 DSC00787 DSC00785 DSC00784 DSC00780 DSC00779 DSC00776
